Care & Disclaimer
Each work is one-of-a-kind, hand-built and raku-fired. Surface cracks, fissures, carbon trace and unglazed passages are intrinsic to the technique and are not considered defects. Pieces are intended as sculptural art objects. They are not tested or certified for food, drink, liquid containment or outdoor use, and any such use — including handling, display and placement — is undertaken entirely at the owner's own risk. Tsuchi Art Studio accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss arising from the use of these works.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated on top of the listed price and scales with the size and weight of the work. Every piece leaves the studio nested in wood wool, wrapped in archival paper and crated by hand — the kind of slow packing that takes longer than the firing did. All parcels are sent fully tracked and insured, door to door. That extra care costs a little more, and it is worth every cent: the work survived the kiln, it should survive the post.
